Jordan Scantlebury is currently enrolled in the Master of Public Policy program. Th is is his fi rst year volunteering with the Global Ideas Institute. With broad interests spanning from the academic (don’t ask him about the biological nature of human consciousness) to the pragmatic (don’t ask him about issues in Canadian health policies either), Jordan was drawn to the GII by the opportunity to work with some of the GTA’s most promising students as they tackle one of the world’s most pressing problems. Despite spending entirely too long in academia, Jordan has experience in the private, public, and non-profit sectors, with past volunteer work including tutoring at-risk youth and participation in science education programs. He holds a graduate degree in psychology and neuroscience from Dalhousie University.
